How A Move To San Diego Works
Coming from inside 200 miles, including all of Los Angeles, your things are loaded and delivered the same day. From farther out, it is one flat rate agreed in writing before we load, our own truck and crew door to door, delivery on a date rather than a window, and no deposit at any point. The local end runs on published hourly rates: $119 an hour cash ($129 card) for two movers, the full ladder on the rate card.

If your building needs a certificate of insurance, we provide COIs and book the elevator with management.
If the new home is not ready when you are, we store household goods at our own Miramar facility, loaded and inventoried by our own crew, until it is.

Do you handle moves INTO San Diego from other cities?
Yes, that is half our long-distance work: eleven dedicated inbound routes from Austin, Boise, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Nashville, Phoenix, Portland, Raleigh and Seattle, plus anywhere else on a quoted basis. One flat rate agreed in writing before we load, we are the carrier rather than a broker, and anything within 200 miles of San Diego, including Los Angeles, is delivered the same day it is loaded.
How much does the local end of a San Diego move cost?
Our local rates are published: $119 an hour cash ($129 card) for two movers with a 3-hour minimum of $357 and a flat $75 fuel fee, up the ladder to $269 an hour cash for five movers. No deposit, ever, on any move. Long-distance moves are one flat written rate instead of an hourly bill.
Can you store our things if the new home is not ready?
Yes. We store household goods at our own Miramar facility, loaded and inventoried by our own crew, which is the common bridge when a lease ends before an escrow closes.
What should we set up before the truck arrives?
Two of our pages do the whole job: the address change checklist covers the DMV, USPS and every account that needs your new address, and the utility transfer directory links every San Diego provider, SDG&E to water district by neighborhood. If you are landing in a high-rise, we provide the certificate of insurance and coordinate the elevator reservation with building management.
