MOVING IN CORONADO: GOOD TO KNOW
- Unlike many cities, San Diego does not issue temporary no-parking or curb reservation permits for moving trucks. The City's parking permits cover residential permit districts and overnight RV parking, neither of which applies on move day, so there is no City permit behind a San Diego moving permit sold to you for the truck. A heads-up to neighbors, and holding the space with your own cars the night before, is the local move-day trick.
- Coronado's streets near Orange Avenue are narrow with tight parking. Beach-season weekends are the hardest windows.
- For Navy housing moves, check your housing office's access and scheduling requirements; we work with them regularly.
