How Does Moving Into
Storage Work?
Moving into storage bills like any local move: $119 an hour cash ($129 with a card) for a 2-person crew, a three hour minimum of $357, and a flat $75 fuel fee. We store household goods at our own Miramar facility, loaded and inventoried by our own crew.
No deposit, ever, and nothing charged before move day. Call (858) 490-0155 with what you are storing and for roughly how long, and you will have a written number the same day.

Home to storage: downsizing, staging a house for sale, or clearing space. We load, drive, and stack your unit so everything is accessible and nothing is crushed. Proper stacking is the difference between a 10x10 that fits everything and one that doesn't.
Storage to home: we pick up from your unit and deliver to your new place, with furniture placed in the rooms you choose. Just have your gate code and unit key ready. We handle the rest.
Between homes: escrow gap, remodel, or timing mismatch? We move you out, into storage, and back out when the new place is ready. One company handling both legs, so nothing gets lost in the middle.

Our crews work these facilities weekly and know the drill: gate hours (most close between 6 and 10 PM, and we schedule so we're never racing the gate), elevator access at multi-story sites, and which locations a 26-foot truck can navigate.

Container Instead?
Portable containers (PODS, U-Box, Pack-Rat) work for some moves, but compare honestly: you still load it yourself unless you hire labor, HOAs and many San Diego streets restrict where containers can sit, and monthly container storage usually costs more than a comparable unit. A storage unit plus our crew is often cheaper and faster, with belongings professionally stacked instead of shifting in a driveway box.
