Facility Know-How
Public Storage, Extra Space (formerly Life Storage), CubeSmart, and U-Haul storage, and the independents — our crews work these facilities weekly and know the drill: gate hours (most close between 6 and 10 PM, and we schedule so we're never racing the gate), elevator access at multi-story sites, and which locations a 26-foot truck can navigate.

Storage Units vs. PODs
Portable containers (PODS, U-Box, Pack-Rat) work for some moves — but compare honestly: you still load it yourself unless you hire labor, HOAs and many San Diego streets restrict where containers can sit, and monthly container storage usually costs more than a comparable unit.
