Federal hours of service rules cap how long a driver can be at the wheel in a day, so no carrier can promise unlimited daily mileage. Our own planning number is 550, and it is the figure we hold ourselves to rather than a best case we quote and miss. What does not move your date is other people's freight, because there is none on the truck. If something does shift, you hear it from the crew running your move that day, not as a new range read back to you.
