The neighborhoods around this base are mostly easy to work in. National City sits closest, older housing stock on a grid with reasonable street access. Chula Vista and Eastlake carry the largest share of family housing, newer suburban development with driveways and garages, which makes for fast loading. Bonita is more spread out with larger lots and some long driveways. Imperial Beach runs smaller coastal properties and older apartment stock where parking is the main constraint. Otay Ranch is newer still and the simplest of all to load. North of the base, Barrio Logan and Golden Hill pick up single sailors in apartments and converted stock where stairs and street parking matter. Can you store our household while I am deployed?+

Yes, and it is the most common request we get around this base. Household goods go into storage before you leave and get delivered when you are back. Arranging it before deployment is far simpler than trying to sort it out from a ship, so book early even if your return date is loose.

Do you handle PPM moves?+

Yes. We pack and haul, weigh empty and loaded at a certified scale, and give you copies of both tickets. You file the claim through your transportation office and they will tell you what documentation they need.

Are you a contracted government carrier?+

No. We are a licensed California household goods carrier hired directly by service members and families. Government channel moves go to approved transportation service providers, a separate program we are not part of.

How quickly can you move me?+

Sometimes within days, depending on the season and the size. Fleet timelines move suddenly and we know that. Tell us the real date rather than the convenient one and we will tell you honestly whether we can hold it.

Can your crew get on base?+

Yes, with access arranged in advance through your housing office to current policy. This base is busy and unannounced arrivals do not work.

Do you move single sailors out of barracks?+

Yes, and those are usually small quick jobs. Our three hour minimum applies, and for a barracks room that is normally more than enough time.
