Portland (~1,085 miles), Salem (~1,040), Eugene (~975), and Bend (~900, over the Cascades) all start the same way: I-5 north, the full length of California. The one winter variable is Siskiyou Summit at the Oregon border — at 4,310 feet it’s the highest point anywhere on I-5, and it’s where chain requirements appear a few days each winter. Bend adds a Cascade crossing on top of that. None of it changes the flat rate; it occasionally moves a January delivery by a day.
