If you are moving to Coronado, the recreation center is a wonderful place to go for everyone with both senior and children programs.

The Coronado library is a great place to read, check out books, or enjoy community activities and lectures. The library structure is gorgeous, is open much longer than most libraries in San Diego, and has interesting programs for small kids including story time on Tuesdays and Fridays. The Coronado water ferry has a ferry that goes from Coronado to downtown San Diego. You can have dinner in Gaslamp, walk or bike on the waterfront, or even go see a baseball game at Petco field.
